Our goal is to cultivate a community of experts, leaders and professionals who share a common commitment to reshaping the dynamic between Higher Education and society, through entrepreneurship and community engagement. It would also serve as source of inspiration for other Higher Education Institutions that are following the same journey to achieve the academic Third Mission.
ACEEU moves the needle in entrepreneurship and engagement with new EU-funded projects
ACEEU continues its commitment to creating a ripple impact in HEIs worldwide by making them more interconnected with their ecosystems. During the next 3 years, we will implement new projects in sustainability (Digisustainability, ESG4SMEs, Edu4SDGs, Start-DSP, ANGIE, SHIFT) artificial intelligence (AI Engineer), engagement (Skills4Water, BridgesbyMentors) and entrepreneurship (YHELD). We aim at driving and galvanising institutional change at HEIs to enable better engagement and to attain common societal goals through these projects.
ACEEU is dedicated to improving quality assurance in higher education through various initiatives. The MDTA case serves as evidence of this commitment.
As part of the Managing Digital Transformation Academy project (MDTA), we contributed to establishing a European Certification Framework for Digital Transformation, specifically designed for professionals. This framework will make the MDTA program more appealing to professionals and is expected to become the standard for digital transformation certifications.
Are you interested in boosting community engagement and reaping the benefits in your research, teaching and engagement? Explore the TENACITY (CommuniTy Engagement for a kNowledge bAsed soCIeTY) platform. With this EU-funded project, ACEEU and the consortium aim to establish deliberative arenas for the academic communities to facilitate their connection to communities.

We will facilitate open discussions with society, students, and academic staff to explore their perspectives on sustainable cities, the roles communities play, and how these collaborative efforts can address inequality.
