Additional source of expertise, critical thought and fresh perspectives is supplied regularly by ACEEU’s Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board advises the Accreditation Council and the Accreditation Office on the central elements of ACEEU’s activities and the accreditation of entrepreneurial or engaged universities in general.

FUNCTION

The Advisory Board advises the Accreditation Council and the Accreditation Office. Advice might include but is not limited to:
  • Adjustments of ACEEU’s standards, guidelines88 and procedures
  • Member services
  • Changes in national or international accreditation
  • Opportunities for ACEEU’s development
  • Future challenges ACEEU has to face
  • Potential candidates for ACEEU’s Accreditation Council

STRUCTURE

The Advisory Board is composed of a chair and a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 members. Members of the advisory board can include a variety of stakeholders, including representatives form higher education institutions, intermediaries (such as technology transfer officers or managers of incubators), businesses, governmental organisations or further organisations supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and engagement (e.g. regional development offices or association active in the field). The chair and members of the Advisory Board are appointed by the Accreditation Council.
