"I’m Aysel, an aspiring higher education professional from Azerbaijan. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English Teaching, and now I’m pursuing my master’s degree in the MARIHE program, focusing on leadership and management in higher education. What I love about ACEEU is its strong international focus. All my previous experiences have involved internationalism in some way, but this feels like something fresh and exciting. Recently, I’ve developed a deep interest in quality assurance and accreditation in higher education, so joining ACEEU is an amazing opportunity for me to grow and contribute to meaningful projects."
About me
Three things to know about me
A Cat Person
At some point in my life, I hosted 3 cats in my house. I am a strong believer in the cat distribution system. You don’t find a cat; a cat finds you! Why I love cats so much? Because they are clean, they are independent, and of course, they purr (which I find super cool)
An Arts&Culture Enthusiast
I appreciate art in all forms. I always find myself being drawn to artsy corners of the cities I visit. Museums, galleries, theatres, libraries, bookshops, art cafes, you can find me in one of these if I am not home/work.
Multilingual in Progress
I grew up in a household where three languages were spoken. Azerbaijani and Turkish were my default settings, but later in life, I learned English and worked on improving my Russian. And of course, German is loading... :D
