The Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) has awarded the Business Institute Denmark, the accreditation as an Engaged University. It is the first business institute to achieve ACEEU accreditation on engagement, marking a significant milestone in the institution's dedication to fostering engaged leadership and nurturing meaningful relationships with its stakeholders.
“This accreditation is proof of our dedication to quality and our constant pursuit of academic and professional expertise. We are proud to be recognized as an institution committed to preparing our students for success in business and society as a whole” said Lars Ib, rector of the Institution.
Evaluators feedback highlighted strong leadership, embodied in the vision of the institution. Furthermore, the evaluation committee recognized Business Institute culture of collaboration, along with the institution’s exceptional relationships both students and externals partners. These elements where identified based also on the evaluator’s acknowledgment of the small size of the institution which amplifies the value of its flexible and responsive management approach.
“The engaged accreditation recognizes Business Institute as a caring institution that emphasis on people firs, encouraging leadership through a self-discovery journey. It also distinguishes the institutions potential to further articulate their engagement efforts with the institutions engagement strategies and goals” says Thorsten Kliewe, Chair of the Peer Review Team
To receive this accreditation the Business Institute went through a four-phase process, including a self-evaluation and peer review visit, before the Accreditation Council awarded the Engaged University status. The university was reviewed by Prof Dr Thorsten Kliewe, Devin Hauer and Tom Gamble during the Peer Review Visit, and the accreditation was conducted by Dr Lina Landinez, David Romero and Prof Panayiotis Ketikidis, who took part as the Accreditation Committee.
