On Thursday, 19th of September 2019, ACEEU Chair Professor Thorsten Kliewe and Dr. Lina Landinez hosted an ACEEU workshop for members of the REUNE Network, a network that is part of the Colombian University Association ASCUN and focuses on entrepreneurship development in higher education. Members from 15 higher education institutions as well as representatives of the Ministry of Culture discussed the key challenges of entrepreneurial university development, explored the entrepreneurial university concept and used the ACEEU Toolkit to design future universities that can create greater socio-economic impacts.
“Our tools facilitate a holistic overview of the multiple elements of an entrepreneurial university. They support an understanding that an entrepreneurial university is more than patents, as many people believe here in Colombia. We need to work together in all the multiple elements to achieve an entrepreneurial mindset”, says Dr. Lina Landinez.
