DEEPBIOTECH Project

Deep tech in bioentrepreneurship: immersing the next generation university startups and research commercialization in life sciences towards social and environmental impact
DEEPBIOTECH aims to advance life science universities and innovation producers by transforming life science higher education and research to become more modern, entrepreneurial, digital, and engaged. It will support life science students and entrepreneurs in integrating deep tech into their startups and will also facilitate the creation of life science spinoffs and the transfer of technology through deep tech innovations, leading to significant economic, environmental, and social impacts.
ACEEU's Role:
ACEEU will lead WP3 (Transformational Toolkit for University Lecturers and Administrators), particularly in content development, and will also contribute to WP2 (Deep Tech Entrepreneurship in Life Sciences Course) by organizing awards and celebration activities during the hackathons used to pilot the course. Additionally, ACEEU will take the lead in WP5 (Dissemination, Exploitation & Impact) by developing the dissemination strategy, establishing the communication infrastructure, and coordinating among the partners. Furthermore, ACEEU will organize an open day event in Germany, bringing together 50 participants, including science students, researchers, university administrators, startups, policymakers, and deep tech solution providers.
