As the CCF’s digital learning expert, EUEI, has been focusing on developing and designing CCF’s Digital Open Innovation Platform (Output 1), MMS has been leading the consortium in the creation of the CCF’s Guide to the Sustainable and Regenerative Development of EU Creative Economies and Communities Post COVID 19 (Output 2).
The Guide will provide creative industries communities and those who support them (e.g. HEI sector) with rigorously researched, up-to-date knowledge on the impact of the COVID19 crisis on creative economies and 30 transferable solutions which can be deployed sustainably to develop and regenerate creative communities post-crisis. It will also be used as a key teaching tool to prepare HEI students for creative sector e-service learning. It will outline some of the problems facing the creative sector and it will present some creative and regenerative solutions which have been identified as best practices.
Through this professional publication, the CCF project aims to:
- Identify, categorize and share outstanding and transferrable 30 best practice case studies of creative community regenerative projects which are viable and sustainable
- Analyze the drivers of success in these practices, focusing on attitudes, policy and operational factors
- Present the strategies in a way that makes it easy for HEI educators, policymakers and creative industries stakeholders to learn from, replicate or adjust them for use in their organizations
- Conclude and create a strong “call to action” regarding the opportunities and benefits of promoting the Sustainable and Regenerative Development of Regional Creative Economies and Communities that help our communities, countries, and the EU achieve wider to achieve economic stability and diversification of offerings
The CCF’s project aims to have the Guide finalized and communicated to associate partners, interested stakeholders and the general public in April 2022. It will be delivered in an interactive mobile-friendly PDF with professional graphic design that can be downloaded and read from cover to cover. It will be free to use from the project website and published in English, Finnish, German and Lithuanian.
