Ethical Engineer Project

Ethical Engineer: Integrating teaching ethics in artificial intelligence and robotics into Engineering Education
The Ethical Engineer project aims to enhance AI education by promoting Trustworthy AI in Europe, emphasising ethical, social, and legal aspects in engineering education and training. Focusing on HE engineering and robotics students, we seek to instil ethical principles in AI development. Our goal is to empower future AI experts to create systems aligned with European values, ethical guidelines, and societal well-being.
ACEEU's Role:
ACEEU will develop the Starter Kit’s Toolbox of Recommended Digital Tools for implementing AI ethics in WP2 and will co-lead W4: Ethical Engineer Bootcamps. Further, ACEEU is instrumental for pilot testing outputs in each work package. ACEEU is responsible for quality assurance and monitoring efforts throughout the project.
