A Toolbox for Teachers

ACEEU has identified 15 AI tools that engineering educators can implement in the classroom. They are categorized in the Toolbox by: Inclusion and Accessibility, Interactive Participation, Lesson Planning, Feedback and Grading, and Engineering Coursework. ACEEU put a spin on the activity and added an “ethics meter” to the Toolbox, using it to evaluate the extent to which each tool adheres to ethical principles. The ethics meter considers four ethical criteria: transparency/explainability, accountability, societal impact, and terms of service/privacy.
