At the end of March, the TENACITY project consortium met for the first time online. The project aims to develop universities' public engagement dimension in order to unlock and mobilize university resources to meet the needs of society and enterprises.
The TENACITY partnership is a mosaic of different cultures: its individuals come from 7 different countries! They will gather their efforts to create empowering pathways for future deliberative practitioners (students, researchers, citizens, etc.) within the frame of the Academic Third Mission Strategies.
During the meeting, the University of Camerino (Project Coordinator) set up the working groups and outlined the next steps in the project. ACEEU had the opportunity to illustrate the work plan for IO1, which they will lead. In the next months the whole consortium will be working on the TENACITY Handbook (IO1), a tool that will inspire higher education staff to be more engaged with the community.
At the end of May, the whole consortium will meet in Italy for a seminar kick-off meeting in Camerino. While the University of Camerino is getting ready to host the consortium members in Italy, ACEEU’s Accreditation Unit is also starting to pack its suitcase as it has been invited to be a co-speaker for this fantastic event!
More updates coming soon, stay tuned!
