Operating under the slogan "Building a Comprehensive Educational Ecosystem for Sustainable Development Goals," the Edu4SDGs project aims to expedite higher education's contribution to the SDGs by instilling social responsibility and cultivating agents of change. The project's objectives encompass elevating the standards of sustainable development policies, formulating a university approach to impact empathy as a cornerstone of SDGs implementation, advancing the understanding of emotions related to the SDGs, crafting a university approach to establish the SDGs micro-credential ecosystem, and providing upskilling and reskilling opportunities for the SDGs.
The Kick-off meeting (KOM) transpired on November 28-29, 2023, in Lodz, Poland. Hosted in a hybrid format by the Lodz University of Technology, the meeting involved project partners from Poland, Spain, Latvia, and Germany. The session encompassed a comprehensive discussion of the project overview and clarification of the roles of each partner, successfully covering all agenda items. As part of the KOM, a 3-hour EQ training was organised for project team themed “Working with emotions part 1” to enhance their knowledge , awareness and general understanding on the topic of emotional intelligence.
Overall, the Kick-off meeting was perceived positively by the partners, highlighting successful goal achievements, effective teamwork, enthusiasm about the project, and unwavering commitment from all participants.
