As part of the EDU4SDGs project, a new interactive board game is being developed to engage participants in sustainability education through play. Designed under the "Emotional Intelligence for the SDGs" initiative, the game introduces the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a gamified format, making learning more engaging and accessible.
The board game is structured around real-world scenarios, encouraging players to explore global challenges while enhancing emotional intelligence (EQ) skills such as self-awareness, empathy, and problem-solving. As part of this initiative, the game will be tested during the summer school in Riga, where participants will assess its effectiveness and impact.
Additionally, the EQdo tool, an innovative emotional regulation game, complements this initiative by helping players better understand emotions, manage stress, and build empathy. With customizable puzzle cards and scenario-based discussions, EQdo supports emotional education in an interactive way.
By integrating SDG knowledge with emotional intelligence training, the EDU4SDGs board game initiative aims to empower individuals as agents of change, equipping them with the social and emotional skills needed to drive sustainability forward.
Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this game to life!
