On February 21-22, 2024, the International Congress for the Development of Socioemotional Competences (CIDECS) took place virtually, and an International Conference was hosted by the University of Zaragoza. This event brought together experts and educators to focus on developing socio-emotional competences, addressing contemporary societal challenges, and extending the GRIT concept's reach into broader society.
During the conference ACEEU, conducted a workshop on the theme "Navigating Tomorrow: Empowering Students through Unlocking the Potential of University Engagement," This workshop provided a platform to discuss the GRIT concept and how universities can use it to achieve their third mission.
The congress also featured discussions on cutting-edge topics like Natural Language Processing and the transformative potential of Machine Learning in Academic GRITiness. These sessions showcased innovative approaches to education and research, highlighting the important role of technology in shaping the academic landscape
