I-Restart Consortium Holds Second Project Meeting in Vienna

One year after the successful Kick-off meeting at the University of Turin, the I-Restart project team reconvened in Vienna for their first in-person gathering in September 2023. With 29 partners from 11 countries, the project is focused on upskilling and reskilling workers in the agri-food and veterinary sectors.

During the Vienna meeting, partners reviewed progress, discussed task execution, and outlined future activities. Each task leader provided updates on their area, and lively debates ensued on how to best achieve the remaining objectives. Thanks to the seamless organization by LVA and ISEKI, the event was a major success.

I-Restart is making significant strides in retraining employees from heavy industry to transition into agri-food roles, while also engaging students interested in the sector. By enhancing digital skills and preparing workers for the Green Deal initiative, the project is at the forefront of creating a sustainable, future-ready agri-food workforce.
