NUDGING 360
Project
Nudging to Increase Digital Skills in Higher Education Institutions
Nudging 360 addresses the varying quality of digital offerings between higher education institutions, namely, the lack of motivation or self-confidence educators face in learning and applying new digital technologies for the classroom.
By methodically introducing and implementing nudging tools and techniques through the use of two tools kits from two different angles, Nudging 360 will help to enhance educators’ competencies to deliver more effective, efficient, and innovative education offerings within the existing digital facilities of HEIs. The first toolkit is developed for HE administrators (i.e. faculty dean, vice-president) to help them nudge and support educators to more effectively utilize digital tools in the classroom, and the second toolkit is for HE educators so that they can practice self-nudging to increase their own competence, use of, and confidence using digital tools for teaching.
ACEEU's Role: Quality Assurance Leader; Co-Developer of Intellectual Outputs
As the QA leader, ACEEU will prepare the Quality Assurance Plan and collect feedback from partners to develop a tri-monthly Quality Control Internal Report. ACEEU will also lead WP2 (Nudging Ethics Council) and co-lead WP4 (Nudging and Self-Nudging Toolkits).
WP2 will result in the creation of an Ethics Council and Council-Building Roadmap to guide the subsequent project outputs. WP4, which is the focal point of the project, will result in the creation of the Nudging and Self-Nudging Toolkits.
