In the heart of Barcelona, amidst the vibrant culture and rich history, CS NOW project partners gathered for the final transnational meeting of the project. Hosted by, the University of Barcelona this event marked the culmination of dedicated efforts, collaboration, and innovation in promoting and exploring potential futures of Citizen Science.
As the project is coming to an end, this meeting focused on fine-tuning the last output of the project, the CS NOW Digital Capacity-Building Program and outcomes of the multiplier events of the projects in Denmark, Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Led by ACEEU, the partners also worked together in the form of a mini workshop to identify and reflect on the expected impact of the project and roadmaps to ensure the sustainability of the project results.
There was a palpable sense of optimism and excitement about the future of citizen science. The consortium believes that the success of the Citizen Science NOW project has paved the way for a more engaged way of collaboration between scientists and citizens, offering endless possibilities for further exploration and discovery. The lessons learned by partners and the bonds and synergies formed during project implementation will undoubtedly serve as a foundation for future projects, inspiring generations to come.
ACEEU and the rest of the CS NOW partners look forward to completing the project milestone and generating more impact.
