The International Spring School brought together participants from seven countries, primarily PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, for an immersive two-day experience centered around socially engaged research (April 9-10, 2024).
The BETTER Life team showcased innovative tools designed to empower early career researchers in their socially engaged research endeavors. Knowledge transfer was emphasized, with sessions aimed at deepening participants' understanding of the concept and its practical applications. Interactive discussions and hands-on sessions were also key to exploring the BETTER Life Toolkit and DCoE.
A thought-provoking session on "How Socially Engaged Research Works and Its Expectations," led by ACEEU, provided participants with key insights on the role of research in driving social impact.
This event fostered an environment of learning, collaboration, and innovation, equipping participants with the tools and knowledge needed to contribute meaningfully to socially engaged research in their respective fields.
