The 2024 ACEEU Europe-Africa Forum took place from September 18 to 20 in Lisbon, Portugal, bringing together experts and pioneers to advance entrepreneurship and engagement in Higher Education.
Organized by ACEEU in collaboration with the BETTER Life project, this year’s forum centered on the theme, “Engaged Research and Intrapreneurship for Societal Impact: Creating Legacy through Action.” The event highlighted the BETTER Life project, which aims to foster collaboration between academics and non-academics, enabling meaningful societal change.
One of the event's key moments was the panel discussion, “Engaged Research for Societal Impact,” moderated by the CEO of ACEEU, Dr. Lina Landinez. Professor Michal Lošťá, representing the BETTER Life consortium, shared valuable insights into the topic while introducing the BETTER Life project, emphasizing its alignment with the forum’s focus on societal impact through engaged research.
The forum draws significant participation and fosters productive dialogues that will continue to shape the future of higher education and societal engagement.
