The Pages project aims to support the global combat on ageism and to foster intergenerational cohesion at community level. Central to this initiative is the InterAGES program, an innovative initiative designed to spark meaningful interactions and foster mutual understanding between younger and older generations. Through collaboration on creative and cultural activities, participants have the opportunity to break down stereotypes, share experiences, and build mutual respect.
The program offers a dynamic number of activities, from gamified & skill-sharing experiences that celebrate arts and culture to hands-on crafting workshops, the sessions are meticulously designed to spark curiosity and collaboration. Storytelling sessions provide a space to preserve and share personal histories, while sports, theatre, dance, and music activities add energy and joy to the experience. Together, these activities cultivate an environment where generations can learn from each other and create something meaningful.
Ensuring the success of such a program requires meticulous planning and evaluation. To this end, ACEEU, the project’s quality assurance partner, has implemented rigorous measures to maintain high standards. These include pre- and post-piloting evaluations to assess the quality of the activities, as well as a pilot satisfaction questionnaire to gather feedback. These tools are key to refining the program and ensuring it achieves its goal of reducing ageism while fostering stronger intergenerational bonds.
