The DiCE Accelerator: Empowering Educators to Revolutionize Learning

The DiCE Accelerator is an innovative platform designed to guide educators and course directors in creating impactful digital community engagement (CE) courses. By combining structured processes and intuitive tools, the accelerator enhances student learning, drives social impact, and supports educators in developing their entrepreneurial and management skills.

How Does It Work?

The DiCE Accelerator employs a six-phase process based on the ADDIE Model and Design Thinking principles. This ensures every course preparation step is covered while fostering creativity and adaptability.

Here’s an overview of the six phases:

1. Value Selection: Identify key values and align them with student and community needs using tools like the Value Maps.
2. Learning Objectives: Set clear, measurable goals to guide the learning journey.
3. Methodology Design: Develop innovative teaching strategies and select course materials to maximize engagement.
4. Content Development: Create impactful content, such as lesson plans and syllabi, tailored to CE activities.
5. Assessment: Design robust methods to evaluate progress and outcomes through community-based digital initiatives.
6. Feedback & Modification: Continuously improve courses by integrating user feedback for future iterations.

Why Use the DiCE Accelerator?
The platform offers a practical approach to rethinking education by making it more community-focused and digitally innovative. Tools like the Value Map for Students' Learning and the Digital Engagement Community Learning Objective Generator simplify complex tasks, allowing educators to focus on creating meaningful learning experiences.

Transform the way you design courses and bring community engagement into the digital era. Explore the DiCE Accelerator at DiCE Accelerator.
