ACEEU had the pleasure to participate in the kick-off meeting for the iPeer project organized by the 4.0 Foundation and held in Sofia, Bulgaria from 27th of September until 29th. The two-and-a-half-day event included various activities ranging from brainstorming exercises to visits to interactive museums. Due to COVID-19, the meeting was conducted in a hybrid manner, with roughly half of the partners present in person and the other half joining via online video tools. Due to bad weather, some of the plans for the meeting had to be adjusted and/or cancelled. But even considering those two factors, the kick-off was a resounding success. Great organization in Sofia Tech Park created a productive and friendly atmosphere. ACEEU took part in drafting concept maps for iPeer inventory and methodology as well as in discussing the challenges that the partners will try to overcome together.
Now that the project has officially started, all of the partners will conduct state-of-the-art analysis in their respective countries, focused on the use of peer learning methodologies in education. Once that is done and the report detailing those findings is finished, the partners will hold an online meeting in mid-November to discuss their progress and the path forward. Around the time of that meeting, ACEEU will get together with the lead partner to talk about ACEEU’s leading role in IO4 (elaborating a competence model and an automated evaluation system).
Stay tuned for many updates in the upcoming weeks and months, including about the next transnational project meeting, which will be organized by ACEEU in Germany!
Many thanks to the 4.0 Foundation team for hosting this wonderful kick-off.
