RestART Europe’s progress is in full swing, as the consortium can proudly declare the production of the first project result which is the State of the R-ART Report. This report forms the backbone of the project as it provides insight on the status of second-chance female entrepreneurship in the arts and creative sector in Europe.
In a thorough and comprehensive endeavour, RestART Europe partners devised a research methodology to support the project’s aim to overcome the lack of visibility surrounding the inequality of women in the arts and creative sector in Europe. This novel approach required primary research to be conducted to better support the understanding of the nature of the struggles of second-chance female entrepreneurs. ACEEU prepared a database of potential mentors who could take part in a survey to understand their ability to serve as potential mentors in this project. Finally, all of the findings were compiled in one report: the State of R-Art Analysis Report, thus concluding the first Project Result.
With this achievement successfully completed, the project has used the same energy to carry forward with the next steps. The project consortium has carefully laid out the parameters for a platform to be built by ACEEU which will form the central output for the next Project Result: Online Platform Ment-Net and Mentoring Scope. This second result is led by ACEEU and consists of an online and interactive platform for mentors and mentees and project partners.
Full steam ahead for project RestART Europe! We hope that the upcoming stages of the project can build on the success of the first stage!
