After years of collaboration and hard work, the RestART project is coming to an end with excellent results, a huge impact among the different target groups, and strong bonds between the partners. During the past months, meetings and final efforts have been made.
The consortium gathered for the fourth and final TPM hosted by the University of Lusofona in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 22nd and 23rd of May 2024. Representatives from each partner institution discussed various project outcomes and finalised key activities. The remaining tasks were reviewed during the meeting, and project milestones were assessed. Critical areas of PR4 were discussed, including the creation and dissemination of promotional materials, ongoing improvements in the platform and toolkit from PR2 and PR3, and the necessity to extend PR3 activities into the PR4 timeframe due to translation delays. The dissemination strategy was also updated, emphasising social media efforts and increasing LinkedIn followers. Future project options, including certification for mentors and new funding proposals, were explored.
The Project had successful results that exceeded the expectations from the initial proposal:
• The "Restarting Businesses in the Creative and Arts Industry through Mentorship" report identifies the needs and opportunities for restarting women entrepreneurs and provides guidelines for effective mentoring in the arts and creative industries. You can read the report here.
• The Online Platform Ment-Net is an interactive platform designed to build confidence and skills among women entrepreneurs in the arts and creative industries. It serves as a hub for networking, mentorship, and training opportunities. Explore Ment-Net here.
• The RestART Mentor’s Toolkit is a collection of best practices and instruments for strengthening mentors' skills and capacities. You can access the Toolkit here.
• The Online Mentor Capacity Building Program and Handbook offers a variety of courses and a comprehensive handbook to train mentors on using the RestART Mentor’s Toolkit.
