A three-day training event for the project MydigiCoop was organised by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences on 25th January to 27th January, 2023. The days were organised according to specific themes.
The theme for Day-1 was “Introduction to Social Cooperative Entrepreneurship”. Except introducing each partner's role in social cooperative entrepreneurship, partners also visited Start-Up School, which supports both entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs by offering various courses and events for them. Our partners learned about the activities of our Start-Up School and enjoyed the visit.
The theme of Day 2 was “Sharing Best Practices”. We started the day by playing a new business game activity, which was led by ULBS. The goal of the game was to discover entrepreneurship education learning goals and the learning focussed on the process from an idea to establishment of an entrepreneurial university. In the afternoon, ACEEU representatives and co-founders of “Closd”, a start-up company in Muenster, Germany shared the German social entrepreneurial eco-system, and their social impact hubs and start-up accelerators. They also discussed about their excellent, sustainable company offering and their future plans.
The theme of Day 3 was “Innovative Co-production”, which was led by the representative of ACEEU, founder of Digital Mente. The theme of the workshop was effective digital communication for promoting social entrepreneurship (SE). Partners learnt about the role of social media in promoting SE, identifying best practices and success stories in using social media for SE ventures, content marketing and creating engaging social media content for SE initiatives.
The training event created a mutual beneficial opportunity for partners to learn a lot about social cooperative entrepreneurship model in different countries. We hope that social cooperative entrepreneurship model receives more recognition in the years to come as we believe it is the way forward towards a sustainable society.
