As part of the NutriWellB project’s Work Package 5 (WP5), ACEEU hosted a successful Multiplier Event in late November to promote fact-checking in nutrition and health while raising awareness of the project’s E-Book and Online Training Course. The event combined a week of on-site promotions at the University of Osnabrück with an interactive online session, “NutriQuest: Fact-Check Frenzy!”
The on-site activities engaged students directly by distributing flyers with a trivia quiz and a QR code linking to the project’s website. These efforts introduced participants to the project and encouraged them to join the online session. The main event, hosted via Microsoft Teams, attracted a diverse group of participants, including students, a health professional, entrepreneurs, and individuals from the food and digital industries.
During the online session, attendees actively participated in interactive trivia quizzes after being introduced to the project’s tools and objectives. Many participants expressed their appreciation for the session, commenting on its engaging and enjoyable format. Feedback highlighted the event’s ability to combine fun activities with meaningful learning, with one participant sharing, “It was informative but also very fun, thank you!”
The Multiplier Event successfully expanded the project’s reach and created a lasting impact by blending personal interaction with gamified digital tools. These efforts not only raised awareness of the project but also encouraged participants to explore its resources, making topics like nutrition and digital literacy more accessible and engaging.
