As part of its mission to raise awareness about the importance of fact-checking in nutrition, health, and well-being, ACEEU organized an exciting week-long campaign under the NutriWellB project. The campaign not only highlighted the significance of fact-checking in today's digital age but also promoted the project’s E-Book and Online Training Course, offering valuable resources to students, educators, and professionals in health, nutrition, and media communication.
Throughout the last week of November, ACEEU hosted on-site promotions, distributing flyers featuring a fun trivia quiz and a QR code linking to the project website. Over 40 individuals were introduced to the project in this hands-on way, sparking interest and encouraging participation in the main event, NutriWellB NutriQuest: Fact-Checking Frenzy, hosted by ACEEU’s Chair and CEO, Thorsten Kliewe, on the final day of the campaign.
The NutriWellB NutriQuest online event, held on Friday, November 29, 2024, was both informative and interactive, attracting 22 registrations and 12 engaged participants. The attendees included students, health professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry employees from the food and digital sectors.
During the online event, participants engaged with interactive trivia quizzes designed to educate and engage them on key topics. The lively, fun format was a hit, with many attendees sharing their positive feedback. One participant summed it up perfectly: “It was informative but also very fun, thank you!”
This event not only expanded the reach of the NutriWellB project but also made a lasting impact. By blending personal interaction with gamified digital tools, ACEEU successfully engaged a broad audience and encouraged them to explore the project’s valuable resources. As a result, topics like nutrition, health, and digital literacy became more accessible, engaging, and enjoyable to learn about!
