MICROGUIDE Partners discuss accreditaiton and quality assurance in Microcredentials

ACEEU hosted the 4th learning/teaching/training activity in Münster. The meeting was attended by 4 participants (2 from Qualifications Agency, 1 from University of Belgrade, 1 from ACEEU) while one participant from University of Lleida joined online.

The meeting kicked off with the opening speech from ACEEU Director Adisa Ejubovic. Following the opening words, the partners looked into the status quo of the project. One drive folder has been set up to manage and populate all the data, deliverables and other documents.
This was followed by the presentation of University of Belgrade on the pilot microcredential on Elevators. A sample microcredential was presented, as well as the background, needs for such program, employer involvement, ECTS number, general structure and content and the assessment.

Day 2 kicked off with the presentation of Spanish accreditation process (delivered by University of Lleida). Following the presentation the team from Serbia, tuned in online to discuss the accreditation process in Serbia, discuss the employer survey (prepared by ACEEU) as well as propose dates for LTTA5 in Lleida.

Furthermore, ACEEU presented its findings on accreditation process and quality assurance in Germany. Following the presentation, Qualifications Agency presented the structure of Quality Assurance in higher education in Serbia.

In line with Microcredential goal, ACEEU colleague Yu Qin held a presentation on ways we can create synergies and bring knowledge from Microguide to sustain the results of Digital Response Project (A project that builds online learning capacities for institutions). Following the presentation, the partners engaged in a lively discussion on what would be the difference between accrediting digital courses in comparison to non-digital, classroom-based courses.

Day 3 kicked off with summarising the conclusions of the SWOT analysis. The conclusion of the insights wrapped up the LTTA in Münster.
