ACEEU makes one step forward in defining tools to foster 21st century skills in STEM. The partners meet in Copenhagen (31st May – 1st June, 2023) in intense 2-day meetings to discuss the impact of projects results already created, the design of new outputs and planning for the training activities.
Majority of the meeting was dedicated to exploring the tools to hone the skills selected in the previous research. The skills selected are:
1. self-management, purposefulness, perseverance
2. critical thinking, problem-solving and systems thinking
3. communication, collaboration, teamwork
4. adaptability, resilience and stress resistance
5. creativity, curiosity, open mindset, spotting opportunities
6. wellbeing, positive attitude, mindfulness
7. emotional intelligence and empathy
The partners discussed visibility and promotion activities (e.g. participation in CNN conference) as well as quality assurance results.
BE-21-SKILLED project aims at training STEM teachers and students in acquiring 21st century skills (i.e soft skills), through creating practical tools integrable in the lesson plans.
