To enhance the dissemination and visibility of the BE-21-SKILLED project, the project's Multiplier Event was integrated into the Europe-Africa ACEEU Forum, held in Lisbon from September 18 to 20. This approach helped spread the project's results more effectively and also created a great opportunity to share its tools and resources with a diverse audience.
During the event, the project was showcased through an exploration of its developed tools and resources, highlighting its commitment to equipping educators, students, and industry stakeholders with 21st-century skills.
As part of the forum activities, a 1.5-hour workshop allowed 14 participants to explore tools like journaling, lego serious play, and role-playing which bridge the gap between education and the evolving workforce demands. These tools were applied to fictional research scenarios, sparking creative solutions and meaningful discussions. Participants, divided into groups based on personas (PhD student, Technology Transfer Manager, PhD entrepreneur), tackled challenges using these innovative tools.
The attendees also engaged with the Teacher Empowerment Program and the eCompass, discovering their potential to enhance STEM education. Everything facilitated discussions between educators, policymakers, and industry leaders and inspired reflections on self-management, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and professional perseverance.
Without a doubt, this workshop was a milestone in increasing the impact of the project and extending the awareness of the project and its results.
