On the 5th and 6th of May, the ComEnt partnership met in Thurles, Ireland.
This first project meeting was a unique opportunity for the partners to deep dive in the project’s topic: community enterprises.
On the first meeting day each partner presented a workshop on the state of art of community enterprises in their own country. ACEEU was in charge to analyse the state of art on the definition of community enterprises from a European perspective. On the same day, the project coordinator organized a visit to a local community enterprise: “The Cottage”, a tea room and café located in Loughmore. The partners were amazed by such a joyful and warm stuff, and by the suggestive surroundings. Analysing the different realities of social enterprises in the partners' countries was inspiring and motivating, and opened our eyes to a mosaic of different organisations driven by a mixture of entrepreneurship values and social goals.
The second meeting day was mainly dedicated to project management tasks. Guided by the project coordinator, the partners discussed together about the choice of case-studies and defined the interview structure that will be carried out in the next phase of the project such. Moreover, they decided the design of the project logo and the structure of the website. Lastly, the partnership started to organise the second TPM that will take place in Burgas, Bulgaria next October.
The project website and social media channels of the ComEnt project are about to be launched, do not miss the next project updates!
