The ComEnt project partners convened for the final meeting to prepare for the project completion in January 2024.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Christmassy historic city of Münster, the discussions prominently revolved around the progress of the Community-led Enterprise development course. This course, currently in its pilot run at the Technological University of the Shannon in Ireland, has garnered positive feedback from participating students recruited by our partners. The consensus is that the course is proving not only beneficial but also highly relevant to their professional endeavours.
Excitingly, the partners announced that all project resources would soon be accessible on the project website. The primary focus now shifts towards widespread dissemination, ensuring these valuable resources reach and benefit a diverse audience.
Adding depth to the meeting, Dr. Simon Rosenberg from Eleganz Bildungsplatform in Münster delivered an insightful talk. Dr. Rosenberg shared his experiences working with vulnerable populations, shedding light on the challenges they encounter while striving to integrate into German society. The discourse extended to the social landscape of Münster, emphasizing community involvement in supporting and volunteering for social causes.
As the project closure approaches, several crucial tasks remain. Notably, ACEEU takes the lead in the evaluation, testing, and optimization of all project outputs. This process involves scrutiny both internally by project partners and externally to ensure the delivery of thoroughly tested and refined results.
Overall, project partners expressed satisfaction with the substantial progress made thus far. Key outputs include comprehensive National and summary reports detailing innovative models of community enterprise development, a meticulously crafted Course syllabus, along with associated teaching and learning materials, and a robust Project website and learning repository.
The project stands poised for a successful conclusion, thanks to the dedication and collaborative efforts of all partners.
