As a strategic move to amplify the project's impact, ACEEU collaborated with Hansa Berufskolleg Münster, a local Vocational and Training institution in Münster to leverage the VET students as potent agents of dissemination and amplification.
The event took place on January 25th, 2024 and gathered 31 participants, comprising 29 VET students studying Warehouse Logistics and 2 VET trainers of the VET institution. The facilitator leading the event was Prof. Dr. Thorsten Kliewe, Chair and CEO of ACEEU. The session was conducted entirely in German, catering to the local audience and fostering comprehensive engagement within the group.
The main aim of the event was to build the knowledge of the participants on the concept of Community-led Enterprises. The participants also interactively identified social issues/challenges found in the logistic sector, more specifically in the work of the learners in a workshop format. Using a canvas, the participants were motivated to work in groups to brainstorm how Community-Led Enterprises can provide support and create innovative solutions to the identified challenges.
The event was a success generating an active participation of the participants. Through this event, the project was able to broaden their views on business, entrepreneurship and how a community approach can make a positive change in the learner’s environment, especially the sector they are working in.
