ACEEU is jubilant to announce that after more than a year and a half of working together, the DECODE Sustainability partners have finally met face to face to discuss the development and plan the next steps of the project. This third (first on-site) Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) was hosted by the Riga Technical University (RTU) in Riga, Latvia starting from Monday until Tuesday, 20 - 21 June 2022.
The meeting focused on the discussion of the ongoing Intellectual Output 3, DECODE Toolkit, led by RTU. The consortium discussed the progress of the DECODE Toolkit and the plans for the next steps which are the validation process of the Toolkit and possible revision. As a quick reminder, the third output of the project, the DECODE Toolkit, is a set of practical tools, best practices, methods, models and instruments created for deans, vice-deans, and other leaders of academic units to drive sustainability and embed it within their academic units in a meaningful way and at the same time overcome obstacles faced in the process. Moreover, the partners had the opportunity to have the first initial discussion of the following two outputs, IO 4 DECODE Impact Pathways and Impact Roadmaps Framework and IO 4 DECODE Empowerment Program for Impact Roadmap Design.
The intense 2-day TPM did not only result in clearer ideas and strategies on how to move the project forward but it also added a great value to the partnerships. The DECODE partners finally had the opportunity to get to know their colleagues better beyond the screen. The TPM has definitely created a stronger bond and connection among the project partners.
ACEEU can not wait to attend the next on-site TPM planned to take place in Barcelona in February 2023.
Stay tuned for more updates.
