DECODE Sustainability has entered the next stage of the project.
After having successfully gathered 30 deans to map out the current reality of Sustainable Development integration in Higher Education (HE), the project has now continued with the establishment of the European Deans Council for Sustainable Development (DECODE) with the distribution of the DEAN and ACADEMIC SURVEYS (links to the surveys can be found below) as well as the invitation for deans and heads of academic units of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to become the founding members of the Council.
Through the surveys, DECODE Sustainability aims to identify perceived opportunities and obstacles that deans and academics face when embedding ‘sustainability’ into their academic units. At the same time, as founding members, interested deans and heads of academic units of HEIs are given the opportunity to co-design impactful pathways for sustainable development in higher education with a community of pioneering Deans.
This current stage is bringing the project closer to complete its first Intellectual Output. For this reason, ACEEU and DECODE's partners are looking forward to this important milestone of the project.
