The DECODE Project organized an open webinar for HEI deans and academics and those who are interested in the topic of Sustainable Development (SD) in HEI academic units on January 13, 2022. The webinar was delivered by 10 panellists and attracted more than 60 participants.
In this webinar, the results of the DECODE Sustainability’s first output, HEI Sustainable Analysis, were presented by the leader of WP 1 (CHEPS) and supported by LUPT, UNINA and RTU through a dynamic presentation and interactive discussion.
Prof. Daniella Tilbury, Commissioner for Sustainable Development and Future Generations – Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar, joined the webinar as a special guest speaker highlighting the roles of deans as changemakers.
Closing the webinar, ACEEU's project officer assigned to this project, Aventia Wilona, informed the participants on how the results gained in this first work package have given the project a solid foundation not only for the establishment of the Deans Council but also the other core elements of the project: DECODE Toolkit, DECODE Impact Pathways and Impact Roadmaps Framework and DECODE Empowerment Program for Impact Roadmap Design.
As the project has officially launched the Deans Council, the whole team is currently focusing on the next work package: DECODE Toolkit, in which more than 100 instruments and best practices will be developed and collected. Stay tuned for its development.
